SYMPTOMS

If you use the Windows logo key to minimize Dr. Seuss's ABC, version 1.0, by either Random House, or Broderbund, two instances of the program taskbar button appear on the taskbar. When you click either taskbar button, the program maximizes normally but both instances remain on the taskbar.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
