SUMMARY
Application Center 2000 does not require the use of an active directory. You can use Application Center 2000 to cluster WinDNA applications that use the Active Directory technique themselves, but Application Center 2000 does not currently use Active Directory. Application Center stores configuration information in the registry and in the Internet Information Services (IIS) metabase.
