WD2000: Hyphenation Stops Working in Word 2000 for Some European Languages

SYMPTOMS

Hyphenation for text in certain languages stops working after you edit or format the text in various ways. Text that was already automatically hyphenated reverts to the un-hyphenated version.

The affected languages include Croatian, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, Latvian, Lithuanian, Serbian, Slovenian, Swedish, and Romanian.


WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use manual hyphenation for words that need to be hyphenated.
