SYMPTOMS
When you copy the text box layout containing bulleted items from a Slide Master, paste the text box on a slide in normal view, and then promote or demote a bulleted item, the font formatting and bullet doesn't change, even though the item is indented to the next or previous tab stop. This behavior occurs when you use the Promote and Demote buttons on the Formatting toolbar or the TAB key to promote or demote text to a different bullet level.
CAUSE
PowerPoint does not paste the Master placeholder onto the slide correctly.
