SYMPTOMS
When you receive a slide that was sent as an e-mail message, any animations that it has do not work. Also, you may receive the following error when you open the message:
If you click No and then try to move or resize the e-mail message, you may receive the following error
where Line_number is the line number on which the error occurs in the message.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs if you have installed the Outlook E-mail Security Update. The Outlook E-mail Security Update provides additional levels of protection against malicious e-mail messages. The update changes the way that Outlook handles attachments and the way that Outlook can be controlled programmatically.

When PowerPoint sends a single slide as an e-mail message, it includes a script.js file attachment to automatically resize the slide image and to run any slide animations that have been applied to the slide. The Outlook E-mail Security Update prevents this script from running.
