SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft PowerPoint 2000 and Microsoft Word 2000, when you view embedded objects such as MS Organization Chart, Microsoft Excel Chart, Microsoft Excel Worksheet, or Microsoft Graph Chart, you may see the following:
- MS Organization Charts may display gray lines that stretch out in a sunray, fan-like pattern, starting from the lower left of the object, or extra gray lines.
- Microsoft Excel Charts may display gridlines in the chart that are mismatched or crooked.
- Microsoft Excel Worksheet may display gray lines that stretch out in a sunray, fan-like pattern, starting from the lower left of the object.
- Microsoft Graph Chart may display gridlines in the chart that are mismatched or crooked.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs when the following conditions are true:
- You are using either Microsoft PowerPoint 2000 or Microsoft Word 2000.
-and-
- You are embedding either an MS Organization Chart, Microsoft Excel Chart, Microsoft Excel Worksheet, or Microsoft Graph Chart object.
-and-
- You have Tivoli Remote Control version 3.61 installed on your computer.
RESOLUTION
Tivoli patch 3.6.5-RCL-0002, which replaces the file Eqnhook.dll and corrects this problem, is available from Tivoli. To obtain this update, please contact Tivoli.
