SYMPTOMS
In Visio 2000 Standard Edition, when you edit properties in the Custom Properties Editor, you may receive the following run-time error:

To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Visio 2000 Service Release 1 (SR-1).

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Visio 2000 SR-1.

Steps to Reproduce the Behavior
- Start Visio, and on the Tools menu, point to Macros, and then click Custom Properties Editor.
- Accept the default Shapes in a Stencil option, and then click Next.
- Click Browse to browse to a stencil that has shapes that contain custom properties. Basic Flowchart Shapes is a good example.
- Click Open, and then click Next.
- Accept the default Make a Copy to Edit option, and then click Next.
- Choose to edit all or only some of the shapes when you are prompted to select the master shapes that you want to edit, and then click Next.
- In the next dialog box, click Edit Property.
Note that you receive the following warning: - Click OK.

Click OK to close the add-on.
