SYMPTOMS
When you change the Colors setting in Microsoft Windows NT, the colors in Visio may change.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Visio 2000 Service Release 1 (SR-1).

To temporarily work around this problem, quit and then restart Visio.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Visio 2000 SR-1.

Steps to Reproduce the Behavior
- On a computer that is running Windows NT, click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, double-click Display, and then change the Colors setting to 256 Colors.
- Start Visio 2000, select any template, and then add a few shapes to the page.
- In Control Panel, change the Colors setting to True Color. Note that the colors in Visio change.
