SYMPTOMS
When you install Visual Studio 6.0 Service Pack 4 JPN version builds prior to 8863, the Microsoft Visual Basic satellite .dll files being picked up in the merge modules are different from those in Visual Basic 6.0.
RESOLUTION
Install the Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 Service Pack 4 release to market version.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Visual Studio 6.0 Service Pack 4 JPN builds previous to 8863. This bug was corrected in the release-to-market version of Visual Studio 6.0 Service Pack 4.
