Method 2: Run Artgalry.exe

NOTE: When you use this method, you must run the Artgalry.exe file each time that you want to insert clip art from the Clip Gallery.

  1. Start Microsoft Word.
  2. Click Start, and then click Run.
  3. In the Run dialog box, click Browse. Find and select the Artgalry.exe file.

NOTE: The Artgalry.exe file is located by default in the following folder:

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Artgalry\

  4. Click Open to close the Browse dialog box.
  5. The Open box of the Run dialog box now contains the full path to Artgalry.exe, similar to the following:

    "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Artgalry\Artgalry.exe"

  6. Click OK to close the Run dialog box. This causes the Clip Gallery to be automatically configured in your terminal server session.
  7. When the following message appears, do not click OK. It is important that this dialog box remains open.

Clip Gallery is now configured to run on your computer.

  8. Press ALT+TAB to switch back to Microsoft Word.
  9. On the Insert menu, point to Picture and then click Clip Art.
  10. After the Clip Gallery starts, you can press ALT+TAB to switch back to the message listed in step 7, and click OK to close the dialog box.

In the Clip Gallery, you can now select and insert the clip art that you want.
