SYMPTOMS
When you remove a component that is generated by the SNA Server 4.0 or Host Integration Server 2000 COM Transaction Integrator (COMTI) Manager Snap-In, from a Component Object Model+ (COM+) program, the component disappears from the COM+ Components pane, but does not disappear from the COMTI Remote Environment administration pane.
CAUSE
When you delete a component with a custom registrar, the UnregisterComponent method on IComponentRegistrar is not called by COM+ administration.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
