SYMPTOMS
When you edit a document that was made available offline using Windows 2000, you cannot suspend the computer and may receive the following error message:
CAUSE
This behavior occurs under the following conditions:
- You are using Windows 2000 offline files.
-and-
- One of the following is true:
- You are editing a Microsoft Word or a Microsoft Excel document that has been made available offline.
-or-
- You are editing a file that is linked to Microsoft Word or a Microsoft Excel document that has been made available offline.
- You are editing a Microsoft Word or a Microsoft Excel document that has been made available offline.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a).
