This issue occurs if the permissions that are required to publish files to the team folder are configured incorrectly.

To resolve this issue, perform the following steps on the computer that is running Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS):

  1. In Windows Explorer, locate the InetPub folder.
  2. Right-click the folder, and then click Properties.
  3. Click the Security tab, and then click Permissions.
  4. Click Everyone, click Remove, and then click OK two times.
  5. Repeat step 1 to step 4 for the Wwwroot folder. Additionally, if applicable, repeat step 1 to step 4 for the subfolder that you created in the Wwwroot folder to store team folder data.
  6. Restart the server.
  7. Assign appropriate permissions to users for the InetPub folder and for the Wwwroot folder.
