SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to read an e-mail message through the HTML Mail Interface (HMI) that contains DBCS characters in the e-mail header, an Access Violation error message may occur in the Inetinfo.exe process.
The following line occurs in the call stack:

RESOLUTION

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
