Under the following conditions, your dual-monitor Dial-Up Networking icon on the taskbar may turn yellow:

  • You change your screen area from 640x480 pixels with 16-bit color to 1024x768 with 32-bit color while a Web page is open and being displayed at full screen.
  • Auto Hide has been enabled by using the Quick Resolution tool.

To work around this problem, close the Web page before you alter your screen area or number of colors, or restart your computer after you change your display settings.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
