SYMPTOMS
If you run the Microsoft Exchange Server Mailbox Manager service (Mbclean.exe) that is included with Exchange Server 5.5 Service Pack 3 on a computer that is running the Simplified Chinese version of Microsoft Windows NT version 4.0 and Exchange Server 5.5, the report messages that the Microsoft Exchange Server Mailbox Manager service generates may be composed in German.
CAUSE
This issue can occur because the predefined strings for the report messages in the Simplified Chinese version of the Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Manager service are incorrect.
RESOLUTION

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.5. This problem was first corrected in Exchange Server 5.5 Service Pack 4.
