SUMMARY
This article describes how to back up AutoComplete Uniform Resource Locator (URL) entries in Internet Explorer 5.0. The procedure performs a backup of the 25 URLs that you have most recently typed into Internet Explorer 5.0.

To back up AutoComplete URL entries, follow these steps:
- Start Registry Editor (Regedit.exe).
Locate the TypedURLs value under the following key in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer
- Select the key in the left pane, and on the Registry menu, click Export Registry File.
- In the Save In box, select the location where you want to save the key, give the key a name, and click Save.
NOTE: To restore the key, in Regedit.exe, select the Registry menu and click Import Registry File. - Quit Registry Editor.
