PSS ID Number: 254697

Article Last Modified on 10/29/2003

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Visio Technical 5.0x
  • Microsoft Visio 2000 Technical Edition

This article was previously published under Q254697

When you create or revise a DWG file in Visio Technical and then open it in AutoCAD by Autodesk, some text blocks are truncated.

Some versions of AutoCAD limit the number of characters in a text block to 255 characters.

When you use Visio Technical to create or revise a drawing that you want to use in AutoCAD, create text blocks with fewer than 255 characters.
