SYMPTOMS

When you create a document in Microsoft Works 2000, and then save the document in the Works 4.0 for Windows (*.wps) or file format, the appearance of certain fonts may change.

This symptom may also occur when you save a Microsoft Word document in the Works 4.0 for Windows or the Works 6 file format.

RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior, format your document the way that you want in the Works 2000 Word Processor, and then save the document as a Rich Text Format (*.rtf) file.
