SYMPTOMS
If you use Remote Access Service (RAS) to connect to a network, and the RAS server is running Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 or earlier, you are not able to see a live online broadcast begin. You are only able to see the lobby page.
CAUSE
Windows NT RAS does not support multicast TCP/IP packets. This is a limitation of Windows NT RAS. For more information about this limitation, click the article number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

WORKAROUND
Windows 2000 RAS does support multicast packets. Upgrading the RAS servers to Windows 2000 will allow RAS users to join an Online Broadcast.
