SYMPTOMS

You create a custom extension that handles OnOpen events. If during the OnOpen call of a reply or forwarded message, the extension requests PR_BODY (using the Outlook object model), the body of the original message is altered and dirtied.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a).
