XL97: Borders Lost in Cells Repeated at Top with Filtered Data

SYMPTOMS

When you print or print preview a workbook, cell borders are missing from cells that are repeated at the top of every page. This problem occurs on all pages except the first page.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when all of the following conditions are true:

  • The data below the rows to be repeated are filtered.


-and-

  • The cell immediately below the row to be repeated contains data that does not meet the current filter criteria.


-and-

  • The print area spans more than one page.


STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
