Time Range Button on Source Tab in System Monitor Appears to Have No Function |
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Server
SUMMARY
When you open a log file using the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) Performance snap-in, the Source tab contains a button called Time Range.
MORE INFORMATION
The Time Range button can appear to have no function when the log has stopped recording data. If you click the Time Range button on a stopped log, the action only seems to activate the Apply button and does not change the data displayed on the screen.
You can use the Time Range button on logs that are being viewed in System Monitor while data is actively being logged. Clicking the button updates the start and end time to add any data points that are logged when you are viewing the Source tab.
