SYMPTOMS
If you have multiple accounts configured in Outlook Express 5 and each account has a separate associated signature, the signature does not change to the appropriate signature when you compose a message and select another account.
RESOLUTION
If you have multiple signatures and you want to be able to select a specific signature for each account:
- In Outlook Express, click Options on the Tools menu.
- Click the Signatures tab.
- Click to clear the Add signatures to all outgoing messages check box.
- Click Apply, and then click OK.
When you compose a message and you want to add your signature, click Signature on the Insert menu, and then click the signature you want to use.
NOTE: Click within the body of the e-mail message to make the signature option available.
STATUS
This behavior is by design.
