SUMMARY
When you include the Microsoft Access 2000 Run-Time component in a package built with the "Package and Deployment" Wizard, the package size increases by approximately 150 megabytes (MB).

The Access 2000 Run-Time component is larger than the Access 97 Run-Time component because the Access 2000 Run-Time component must include all Access 2000 components. These components include all the Access 2000 files required to install Access 2000 and all the files required to install Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0. The Access Run-Time component does not use install on demand, so it cannot leave components on the disk until needed; therefore, all components must be included and installed at once.
