SYMPTOMS
When you create a document using the Microsoft Works Word Processor, and you save the document with a file name that includes the Euro currency symbol (€), the Euro currency symbol may be printed as an E.
For example, the file name is Euro€.wps, but the file name in the document header may be printed as EuroE.wps.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if both of the following conditions are true:
- The file name of the document includes the Euro currency symbol (€).
- You insert the name of the file in the document header by clicking Insert Document Name on the Header and Footer toolbar.
NOTE: The Euro currency symbol in the header appears correctly when you click Print Preview on the File menu.
