OL2000: Spelling Checker Stops Responding Without Finalizing the Word

SYMPTOMS

When the Spelling dialog box is closed without finalizing the word of IME in the Change to field, you receive the following error message:

Outlook caused an Invalid Page Fault in module Outllib.dll

CAUSE

Unfinalized word of IME is forced to finalize when the dialog box is closed, and it fires to change default button style in Spelling dialog box that is closed.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a).

STATUS
