SYMPTOMS
When you try to start Nightmare Creatures version 1.0 by Activision, the screen may appear black.
CAUSE
This issue can occur if you are using the Windows 98 drivers for your S3Virge 325 video card and your 3DFX graphics accelerator card.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, use either of the following methods:
Use Software Rendering Mode
Use software rendering mode when you configure the game. For information about how to use software rendering mode, please refer to your documentation or contact Activision.
Update Video Drivers
Update to the latest S3 Virge video drivers. For information about how to do so, view the documentation included with your video adapter, or contact the manufacturer of your video adapter.
