SYMPTOMS
When you run the DATE command at a command prompt to change the system date between two dates that occur before and after Daylight Saving Time, the new system date may be incorrect.
RESOLUTION

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 5.
