SYMPTOMS
After you install Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4 and then use Remote Access Service (RAS) over an analog or ISDN telephone line, you may encounter lower-level packet corruption which results in a STOP 0xA error message being displayed. This error message occurs in Ndiswan.sys.
