SYMPTOMS
After starting an online presentation broadcast inside Microsoft PowerPoint, you may receive the following error message:
After you receive this error message, the audience no longer receives the presentation broadcast from the presenter.
CAUSE
This behavior may be caused by a sound driver that is outdated or incompatible with the NetShow Encoder.
This problem has been reported when using the Creative Sound Blaster 16 Driver Version: 2.03.0 Build 1 Copyright (c) 1994-1996 Creative Technology Ltd.
RESOLUTION
Download and install the most recent version of your sound driver. Please contact your sound card manufacturer for driver details.
