SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to start Outlook, you may receive the following error message:
CAUSE
You installed Microsoft Office 2000, including Symantec Fax Starter Edition, to a folder containing an apostrophe (') in the name. Symantec Fax Starter Edition cannot be installed to a folder with an apostrophe in the name.
RESOLUTION
Install Office to a folder that does not contain an apostrophe in the name.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
