SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to mail an image file from within Microsoft Photo Editor, you will receive the following error message:
CAUSE
Using the Send command on the File menu, Photo Editor will attempt to use Outlook to send the image. When running in Internet Mail Only (IMO) mode, Outlook does not support Common Messaging Calls (CMC).
RESOLUTION
Send the image file by opening a message in Outlook and attaching the image file.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

Photo Editor uses Common Messaging Calls, a client application programming interface (API) that provides functions to send and receive messages across a variety of computer platforms. Outlook in Internet Mail Only (IMO) mode, does not support CMC.
