SYMPTOMS

You use the SaveAs method of the DocumentItem object, but the item is not saved.

CAUSE

The only two formats that save correctly are Outlook Template (OFT) and Message Format (MSG).

RESOLUTION

Depending on your solution, you may be able to work around this problem by accessing the object model of the Microsoft Office program, and using the SaveAs method in the Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Powerpoint object models to save the file in a specific format.
