SYMPTOMS
If you configure Outlook 2000 in Corporate or Workgroup (CW) mode with Microsoft Fax in the profile and then reconfigure to Internet Mail Only (IMO) mode, and then reconfigure Outlook back to CW mode, all the services that were in the Outlook profile remain, except for Microsoft Fax.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because when you reconfigure Outlook 2000 to IMO mode, it automatically replaces Microsoft Fax with WinFax Starter Edition from Symantec.
This behavior is by design.
WORKAROUND
