SYMPTOMS
The BeforeAttachmentSave event seems to run inconsistently when you are modifying text in the body of an item and then saving the item.
CAUSE
After you open an item, Outlook only runs the event the first time that the item is saved after you change the body.
RESOLUTION
This is a limitation of the Outlook object model, and there are no plans to change this behavior.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
