SYMPTOMS
When using the Remote.exe file to remote control a client using a RAS link, the attempt to connect to the client fails and gives the following error message:
Furthermore, upon using Network Monitor to capture the network data sent to the client through the RAS link, no TCP data is visible. Some User Datagram Protocol (UDP) frames are sent but they fail with the following Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) error:

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Systems Management Server 2.0. This problem was first corrected in Systems Management Server 2.0 Service Pack Service Pack 1.
