SYMPTOMS
If you click Send Web Page by E-Mail on the Actions menu to forward a folder home page, the recipient may not able to use the Web page when it is received, or the page may generate errors.
CAUSE
Outlook allows you to forward any type of Web page, even those that are specifically designed to work in a particular scenario, such as a folder home page. This allows more simplistic folder home pages to be forwarded.
RESOLUTION
Before you forward a folder home page, forward it to yourself or someone else and test the received mail appropriately.
MORE INFORMATION
If your mail format is set to HTML, the page is displayed in the body of the e-mail message. If your mail format is set to Rich Text or plain text, the Send Web Page by E-Mail feature attaches the HTML file to the mail message.
Folder home pages can be assigned to any Outlook folder. To assign a folder home page, right-click the folder, and then click Properties. In the Properties dialog box, click the Home Page tab to access the settings for the folder home page.
