SYMPTOMS

Large, secured messages sent with the option to break apart large messages, may not be reassembled properly.

RESOLUTION

When sending signed or encrypted messages, do not use the option Break apart messages larger than <n> KB. This option is found on the Advanced tab of your mail account Properties.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
