SYMPTOMS
When you run the Office 97 setup program to remove Office 97, you may receive the following error:
NOTE: This message may be repeated more than one time.
CAUSE
This behavior will occur when you do the following:
- Install Office 97.
- Install Office 2000 without removing Office 97.
- You then remove some or all of Office 97 at a later time.
RESOLUTION
Click OK to each of the messages, Setup will continue and finish correctly. Office 2000 will run correctly.
