SYMPTOMS

When you run the Internet Connection Wizard, a list of Internet service providers (ISPs) is not listed, and you receive the following error message:

We're sorry, the service you have requested is not currently available in your area.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the Internet Connection Wizard included with Internet Explorer 4.0, 4.01, 4.01 Service Pack 1 (SP1), and 4.01 Service Pack 2 (SP2) for Windows NT 4.0 does not contain a list available ISPs.

RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior, contact an ISP in your area to set up an Internet account.
