SYMPTOMS

When you print your Microsoft Excel worksheet that contains borders to a Hewlett-Packard (HP) LaserJet printer, the borders may be partially or completely cropped in the printed output.

CAUSE

This problem can occur when the following conditions are true:

  • The worksheet that you want to print contains cells with text that is formatted at an angle.


-and-

  • You insert a page break next to cells with the angled text.


-and-

  • You print to an HP LaserJet printer.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
