SYMPTOMS
When you open a WordPerfect 5.x for MS-DOS or Windows document that contains a table with borders, one of the following may occur:
- The bottom cell border for the last row on each page of a multipage table does not appear in print layout view and is not printed.
-or-
- One or more of the borders of a table contained in your document is removed.

CAUSE
This problem is a limitation of the WordPerfect 5.x Import Converter.
WORKAROUND
After opening the file in Word, reapply the borders to the cells of the table. To do this, select either the affected cell or the entire table, click Borders and Shading on the Format menu, and reapply the appropriate border.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
