SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to open a file, you may receive the following error message:
CAUSE
This problem may occur if the following conditions are true:
- The file was originally created in either Microsoft Excel 5.0 for Windows or Microsoft Excel 7.0 for Windows.
-and-
- The file was saved in the Microsoft Excel 2000 file format.
-and-
- The file is stored on a Novell NetWare network server.
WORKAROUND
