SYMPTOMS

When you view your messages in Microsoft Call Manager, the time in the Date/Time column may be off by one hour.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the following conditions are true:

  • You are using version 4.01 or earlier of Microsoft Outlook Express.


  • Daylight Saving Time recently started or ended in your time zone.


RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Right-click the message, and then click Properties.
  2. On the General tab, note the Received time recorded by the e-mail server, and then click OK.

To prevent this issue from occurring, download and install Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 and Microsoft Outlook Express 5 from the following Microsoft Web site:

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Cordless Phone System, version 1.0.
