SYMPTOMS
When you send a print job to your printer using Microsoft Internet Explorer or Microsoft Outlook Express, extra characters or symbols may be printed.
CAUSE
This issue can occur if you are using a Lexmark WinWriter 400 or 600 printer and you have installed the Lexmark Windows Printing System (WPS) or compatible software on the computer.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, use the HP LaserJet II printer driver included with Windows or contact Lexmark to obtain the latest WinWriter printer drivers. For information about obtaining these drivers, click the following link to view the Lexmark Web site:
