SUMMARY
In BackOffice Small Business Server (SBS) 4.5, the user license limit is increased to 50 users. Previous versions of SBS require that licensing be incremented to the user license limit of 25 before you apply a Windows NT Upgrade disk. In SBS 4.5, the limit for a Windows NT Upgrade disk is 25 users.
Therefore, when you apply the SBS 4.5 version of the Windows NT Upgrade disk to computers running SBS versions 4.0 and 4.0a with 25 user licenses, the upgrade is supported.
