Summary: Section 8, “Interprogram Communication,” of the UGUIDE.DOC file provided on the distribution disks discusses MKNEWCOB. The document states, “MKNEWCOB is invoked as follows:”, then there are three blank lines. The command line that is supposed to be there is missing. Refer to Page 73 of the “Microsoft COBOL Compiler for XENIX: User’s Guide” for the syntax of the MKNEWCOB command line.
