Summary: To use the SORT statement in Version 4.x CP/M-80 COBOL, the Microsoft SORT Utility (marketed separately) is required. Linking the COBOL libraries provided with the SORT utility will enable file sorting. Attempting to use the SORT statement without the SORT utility results in the following linker error: “Unsatisfied global $SUP”
