SYMPTOMS

If you create a hover button that links to a bookmark, the browser does not go to the bookmark when you click the hover button.

The Java virtual machines of earlier browsers, such as Internet Explorer 3.0, removed the pound symbol (#) from the hyperlink generated by the hover button.

RESOLUTION

Make sure the client is using Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator browser that is version 4.0 or better.
